Cradle to Career is pleased to be hosting a symposium, “Being Part of the Solution! Understanding Links between Social Emotional Development & Poverty,” on February 24, at Bush Auditorium within Cornell Hall at the University of Missouri.
The event will be held from 9 am until 12:15 and is free to the community. We are excited to bring in keynote, Dr. Eric Pakulak, from the Brain Development Lab, University of Oregon whose work bridges education with the neurosciences to enhance our understanding of the connections between poverty and children’s brain development. Dr. Pakulak will be followed by a panel of local experts working at state, community, and school levels to build intentional communities supporting children’s social emotional well being.
Free childcare will be provided through the College of Education, with opportunities for continuing education credit! Click here to register for this event!
